Emerald Downs Stewards Keep an Eye on Portland Meadows Record-Setter

Auburn, WA—Jockey Joe Crispin apparently has to learn to make his way around the Emerald Downs oval more courteously.

Crispin received a two-day suspension for each of two separate disqualifications on Thursday, May 31. He serves the first suspension this coming Thursday and Friday. His hiatus for the second suspension is not yet scheduled.

After a 2006-2007 season at Portland Meadows in which he set a new Thoroughbred-win record, Crispin moved his tack to Auburn. At Emerald Downs through June 5, his record is 20-21-28 from 154 mounts.
