Overnights are set for the first weekend of racing at Sun Downs in Kennewick, Washington. Saturday's card has eight races, while Sunday promises an Easter-Egg Hunt for the kids in advance of ten races.

Saturday's featured 8th race is the 3K Boekenoogen Memorial for quarter horses, 3-years-old and older. It's not a full field, but it's a fine field, with Bedazoom, La Kangura, Nastoli, Honor Dat Goose, Trafico, and Procede.

The second, third, and fourth races on Sunday are trial races for the Pot O Gold Futurity at 300 yards. The final and consolation are scheduled for Sunday, April 22. Jockeys Cammie Papineau, Joel Ruiz, Mark Boag, Nikeela Black, and Rowdy Luark each have mounts in all three trial races.

Over the two days, 11 races for Thoroughbreds, four races for quarter horses, and 3 mixed-breed races are scheduled.
