Decades-old record teeters precariously at Portland Meadows.

When live racing resumed on Monday after the Super Bowl Sunday hiatus, jockey Joe Crispin notched five wins in his pursuit of the trackís Thoroughbred-win record. Crispin picked up two more Thoroughbred wins on Tuesday in his push towards Gary Stevensís record 126 Thoroughbred wins in the 1982-83 season.

Equibase Company statistics through February 6 show Crispin with 107 Thoroughbred wins. That matches his personal record at the oval, set during the 1998-99 race meet.

Live racing resumes on Sunday, February 11, and is currently scheduled to continue through May 5.
