May 3 - Les Bois Park horse races can now be watched and wagered on at Sandy Downs in Idaho Falls as well as throughout the world!

For the first time, live races run at the Les Bois Race Track in Boise, Idaho will be simulcast to Sandy Downs, in addition to over 70 other simulcast locations in the U.S. Les Bois Park races are now available to other international simulcast locations, as well.

Les Bois Park live racing begins this Friday, May 5 at 5:00 p.m. in conjunction with Churchill Downs Festivities as pre-Kentucky Derby activities.

The regular Boise live racing schedule is Tuesdays and Fridays beginning at 5:00 p.m., and Saturdays at 2:00 p.m., in addition to holidays and other special racing days.

About one-third of the connections involved in the Les Bois Races are either from, or connected to, South Eastern Idaho, and that's why this is such a great thing, with traveling costs at the level that they are, for all involved participants.

Another one-third or more are connected to other world-wide locations, so this is also great exposure and a major contribution of efforts expended by the new management of Les Bois Park to the Idaho racing and equine industry.

This Friday evening, eight Les Bois races not only have full fields but have attracted jockeys from major tracks who haven't previously ridden here, in addition to a rider that won the All American Futurity, the world’s richest and most prestigious Quarter Horse race run at Ruisdoso Downs in New Mexico.

The new owners of Les Bois Park have instituted a progressive vision, via a massive money investment, for the future perpetuation of the Idaho racing industry. Sandy Downs thanks Capitol Racing for the investments into the Les Bois Park and for all the contributions to Sandy Downs live racing last year.
