The MBNA America Racing Challenge is a program administered by the AQHA Racing Department in association with racetracks across North America and sponsored by AQHA Corporate Partner MBNA America.

This person will assist in the promotion and coordination of American Quarter Horse Racing and the MBNA America Racing Challenge to include the implementation of marketing strategies. He or she also will coordinate the enrollment and nomination process and racing activities for the Racing Challenge, among other duties as assigned by the senior director of racing.

In addition, the position will manage all payment processes for the MBNA America Racing Challenge and Championship Day through direct mail, advertisements and personal contact with owners and trainers. This person also will be required to supervise organization and management of the running of the Regional Races and Championship Day through contact with racetrack management, horsemen’s representatives, participating horse owners and state racing commissions.

The manager of the MBNA America Racing Challenge will have daily written and verbal contact with all facets of the American Quarter Horse racing industry and the general membership, and work directly with the AQHA Racing Council and AQHA Racing Committee members. He or she will travel extensively to create a presence for and promote American Quarter Horse racing, the MBNA America Racing Challenge and the Association.
