Los Alamitos Race Course, April 26 - Christian and Ru Anna Singletary's Heza Secret Diamond appears to be prime and ready to win the $15,000 Belmont Shore Handicap when he faces five rivals in the 550-yard feature on Friday, April 28, at Los Alamitos.

Heza Secret Diamond has been racing around the turn of late, but he's shown tons of speed at the 870-yard distance plus he s a former stakes winner at 550 yards. Sam Thompson, back after knee surgery that kept him out of action for over month, will pilot him.

Boyhood, second to Grade 1 winner Gold Medal Jess in the 400-yard Dillingham Handicap last year, is the other top contender in this race. Boyhood was impressive in his last start when winning a 350-yard n allowance over a wet fast track on March 17. He has hit the board in nine of 14 starts.
