The Board of Ada County Commissioners on September 29 approved continued simulcasting at Les Bois Park under the management of Capitol Racing through October 6, extending the original September 30 deadline.

The extension is to allow for more time to negotiate a more permanent solution for live and simulcast racing with Capitol at the Boise fairgrounds.

The Board of Ada County Commissioners at the end of August approved an agreement between Ada County and Capitol Racing to extend simulcast at Les Bois Park through the month of September. Capitol Racing operated live and simulcast racing in August and during the Western Idaho Fair.

Commissioners said they were pleased with the success of the live and simulcast racing at the track under Capitolís management. The track was dark all season until the Western Idaho Fair due to conflict with former track management, Lariat Productions, and the Ada County Commissioners, which own the fairgrounds and lease the facilities.
