The BC Breeders’ Cup Oaks scheduled to run at Hastings Park September 4 has drawn two of Emerald Downs’ premier fillies for the Grade 3, 1-1/8 mile test.

Trainer Grant Forster intends to enter A Classic Life, winner of the Washington Breeders’ Cups Oaks on Mile day, and Tim McCanna said he will enter his charge, the stakes winning Queenledo.
McCanna’s sophomore filly won three consecutive Oaks series stakes at Emerald this season, with a second place finish in the July 10 Kent Handicap to stable mate Gins Majesty.

“She (Queenledo) is training great right now,” McCanna said “We’ll give her a try in the Oaks. She should have a good shot.”

Queenledo worked Sunday morning, Augst 28, breezing 6 furlongs in 1:11 2/5, first of six.
