Auburn, WA--For the 10th time in his career, Jumron Won emerged on top at Emerald Downs, increasing his career earnings total to $319,175 and placing him second on the all-time earnings list at the Auburn oval.

In the May 27 Friday night feature, Jumron Won wasn't even in the picture and barely got a call through the first half mile of the 6-furlong test as Just Outrageous set fractions of 21-4/5 and 44-4/5. At the head of the stretch, the 7-year-old by Jumron swung 8-wide and began to pass his competitors, picking them off one by one.

"He ran great," said rider Mick Ruis. "He got a good hold of the track and just took off with me. We wanted to keep him closer [to the pace], but I just wanted him to relax. Then he came on strong in the end."

Jumron Won completed the event in 1:09 4/5. He returned $5.80, $3.60 and $3.20. Mist Some Spots was second returning $9.20 and $4.60. Cantilator was third paying $4.80. He trails only Kid Katabatic in earnings.

"It's much more fun to bring one of the old horses back and get them going again than when they were younger," said trainer Bud Klokstad.

Below is a list of the top seven all-time earning leaders at Emerald Downs. Those horses whose names are capitalized are still active.
