The Idaho Supreme Court agreed with the Indian Casino lobby on Thursday, September 10, ruling that Governor Butch Otter's veto of the historic racing repeal bill came too late, allowing the repeal to move forward.

Historic racing terminals in three locations in Idaho are expected to be unplugged by this weekend, if not sooner.

The action marks the end of a long legal battle taken on by the casinos to eliminate competition from the historic racing terminals and effectively ends live horse racing at Idaho's flagship racetrack, Les Bois Park in Boise.
