Five horses who have competed in TRJ territory are entered to run in two of today's Breeders' Cup races.

Two are entered in the Breeders' Cup Marathon—Commander and Worldly.

Commander will try again to win his Breeders' Cup after finishing ninth in this race last year. Since then, he has raced eight times, all in Canada, winning four of his last five starts, including the Grade 3 BC Premiers Handicap at 1-3/8 miles in his most recent start. He earned his highest Beyer figure of the year—97— twice at Northlands Park. Today's race 6, #3 horse.

Worldly also tackles the 1-3/4-mile Breeders' Cup Marathon today. Worldly ran at Prairie Meadows on July 27, finishing second in the Prairie Meadows Handicap. Worldly earned his season-high 101 Beyer figure in his most recent start—a third-place finish behind Fort Larned and Windswept in the Homecoming Classic at Churchill Downs. Today's race 6, #10 horse.

Three TRJ runners compete in the Breeders' Cup Dirt Mile.

Taptowne finished second in the Grade 3 Cornhusker Handicap at Prairie Meadows on June 29, finishing second to Prayer For Relief. He earned his season-high 102 Beyer figure in the Grade 3 Ack Ack at Churchill Downs on September 7. Today's race 8, #1 horse.

Golden Ticket also hit the Prairie Meadows surface, winning the Prairie Meadows Handicap on July 27 and earning a 104 Beyer figure in that effort (his season-high is 105). Today's race 8, #2 horse.

Broadway Empire had two races at Northlands Park, winning both the Ky Alta Handicap and the Grade 3 Canadian Derby. He earned his season-high 99 Beyer figure in his most recent start, winning the Grade 3 Oklahoma Derby. Today's race 8, #6 horse.

Best of luck to all. We're going to get an exacta box and a trifecta box.
