Jockey Nikeela Black looks for another win in Saturdayís Les Bois Park feature

Les Bois Park leading trainer Dru Hall often has more than one horse in a race and leading rider Dirk Crane canít ride both horses, leaving a rider to pick up a mount. A beneficiary of Hallís large stable this season has been jockey Nikeela Black. Back on June 12, Hall had two horses in a race and Crane chose to ride favored Go Baroque, giving the mount on Dr Tuff to Black. Dr Tuff posted a wire to wire win in that race and came back with another victory in similar fashion on June 26 with Black aboard.

When Dr Tuff takes on four rivals in the featured eighth race on Saturday, it will be the 10th time Black has picked up a mount for Hall. The jockey-who-is-an-attorney has made the most of her previous nine opportunities, posing for pictures in the winnerís circle six times. Black gets the mount not only because of her previous two wins on Dr. Tuff, but because Crane will be riding in Idaho Falls on opening day at Sandy Downs.

First post for the nine-race card is at 5:30 p.m. local time.
