Desert Park ready for racing, TRJ ready for Desert Park

You’re probably not alone if you’ve never heard of Desert Park. Sounds like it should be in Arizona or New Mexico, doesn’t it?

Osoyoos (pronounced “oh-SOY-youss”), British Columbia, just across the border from Oroville, Washington (and everybody knows where that is, right?) is home to Desert Park. The Desert Park Exhibition Society has been trying to get racing back after a long absence, and the grand reopening is this weekend, with racing on Saturday, June 15.

Here’s what the Osoyoos Times had to say about it: http://www.osoyoostimes.com/desert-park-exhibition-society-president-tells-town-council-facility-is-in-great-shape-as-races-set-to-return-june-15/

Racing is also scheduled for August 31, and then, of course, for many years to come.
