Les Bois Park management has decided to lift the zip code blackout, allowing all customers of—regardless of their proximity to the track—to wager online on Les Bois Park races for the final two days of the season.

Over the first 13 days of the live racing season, racing fans living in dozens of zip codes from Payette to Glenns Ferry were within a blackout radius, prevented from betting online on Les Bois Park races. The attitude appeared to be that “if they live that close, they should come out to the track” instead of staying home and betting online.

For the final two days, Friday, August 12, and Saturday, August 13, the blackout will be lifted so that Les Bois Park management will have more information to assess the blackout policy for next season. The race cards on both Saturday and Sunday look stellar on paper—76 horses are entered for nine races on Friday, while 63 horses are entered for nine Idaho Cup stakes races on Saturday.

Online wagering on Les Bois Park races is only available at offers an 8% cash rewards on all Les Bois Park wagers (except show bets) and reimbursement to your IdaBet account for the cost of the PPs (past performances).

Post time on Friday is 5:30 p.m. Mountain Time (MT) and 4:00 p.m. MT on Saturday.
