The horses return to Les Bois Park in Boise on Saturday evening for opening day of a 15-day race meet under the management of Treasure Valley Racing. First post is at 5:30 p.m. Mountain Time.

The nine-race card has six Thoroughbred and three Quarter Horse races, including the $5,000 Premier Quarter Horse Stakes at 350 yards. The featured event showcases a full field of 10 3YO and older Quarter Horses from across the Intermountain West, along with invaders from Riudoso Park and Los Alamitos Race Course.

Racing continues on Monday for a special Independence Day card before settling into its regular Wednesday/Saturday schedule on Wednesday, July 6, a Ladies' Night featuring the $4,000-added Lady's Secret Handicap.

The legislatively mandated minimum number of race days is not in effect for the first season of live racing under the new management. Simulcasting at Les Bois Park opened on June 1— it is the first year that purse-building simulcasting has been allowed at the track since live racing was suspended in 2008.
