Cam Ziprick of Russell, Manitoba, chose his 2008 mating carefully. He bred his producer Sheza Honey to the stallion Bob and John and was rewarded with a handsome chestnut colt on April 1, 2009. After planning the breeding so carefully, Ziprick wasn’t about to submit any old name for his potential star. After all, he had a year to find a good one.

And what was that name? Find that and much more fascinating and useful info in the June issue. Subscribers can go to their mailboxes to finish reading this month's TRJ—The Racing Journal cover story from Assiniboia Downs.
