TRJ head writer Karen Svea Johnson enjoys a Down the Stretch at the ESPN Zone
Grey Goose, the official sponsor of the 26th running of the Breeders’ Cup World Championships, has introduced a new cocktail recipe to toast the event: the Down the Stretch. The new concoction is being served at all BCWC events.

Down the Stretch

1 1/2 parts Grey Goose vodka
1/4 part simple syrup
3/4 parts sour mix
3/4 parts Monin Super Fruit Purée
Soda water to fill

Fill a highball glass with ice. Add Grey Goose vodka, simple syrup, sour mix, and Monin Super Fruit Purée. Shake well and add soda to fill. Present with orange twist and a maraschino cherry, and raise your glass to the Cup!
