B.C.-bred Dancing Allstar Joins the Cast at $1.4 Million “Summit Of Speed” in Miami

Billed as a “Canadian sprint sensation” in local Miami racing publications, Bob Cheema”s Dancing Allstar is listed as the second favorite in Saturday’s $250,000 Azalea Stakes (Grade III) for 3-year-old fillies at Calder Race Course.

The Azalea Stakes is one of four graded stakes on the $1.4 million Summit of Speed program, the marquee event of the Calder season.

Trained by Terry Jordan with three wins in three starts this season, including the CTHS Sales Stakes on June 21, Dancing Allstar will be ridden by her regular jockey Mario Gutierrez, top rider at Hastings Racecourse this year.

Local fans can catch Saturday’s Azalea Stakes from Miami on the Hastings Racecourse simulcast network at 12:30 p.m. Pacific Time.
