Breeders/owners Russell and Lisa Stooks of Lucky Seven Ranch have announced the retirement of their 2008 world-champion quarter horse, Blues Girl Too.

The most accomplished female racing quarter horse in history, the daughter of Corona Cartel out of Run the Dash (by Sixarun) retires to continue as a breeding prospect. See the November 2007 and January and February 2008 issues of TRJ and the Los Alamitos and AQHA websites for more information about this spectacular runner’s career.

The Racing Journal congratulates Blues Girl Too’s connections upon the difficult yet sensible decision to retire their hard-trying champion. We wish all continued success.
